Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hasanflon is a generic phlebotonic and vascular-protecting medication developed and marketed by Hasan-Dermapharm. It consists of a micronized purified flavonoid fraction (MPFF), typically containing 90% diosmin and 10% hesperidin. Hasanflon is indicated for the treatment of symptoms related to chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), such as heavy legs, pain, and nocturnal cramps, as well as for the management of acute hemorrhoidal attacks. The drug's mechanism of action involves increasing venous tone by prolonging the vasoconstrictor effect of noradrenaline on the venous wall, improving lymphatic drainage, and protecting the microcirculation by reducing capillary permeability and inhibiting inflammatory mediators.
