Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This vaccine is a trivalent combination product designed to provide active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. Developed by Beijing Minhai Biotechnology, it is the first "component" DTaP vaccine produced domestically in China. Unlike traditional acellular pertussis vaccines that use co-purified antigens, this component vaccine contains individually purified and precisely quantified antigens, specifically pertussis toxoid (PT) and filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA), along with diphtheria and tetanus toxoids. The antigens are adsorbed onto an aluminum hydroxide adjuvant to enhance the immune response. It is indicated for primary and booster vaccination in infants and children to prevent infections caused by *Corynebacterium diphtheriae*, *Clostridium tetani*, and *Bordetella pertussis*.
