Overview

**Vaxelis** is a fully liquid, hexavalent pediatric combination vaccine developed as V419. It provides active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, hepatitis B, and invasive *Haemophilus influenzae* type b disease. The vaccine combines diphtheria and tetanus toxoids; five acellular *Bordetella pertussis* antigens; inactivated poliovirus types 1, 2, and 3; recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen; and *H. influenzae* type b polyribosylribitol phosphate conjugated to meningococcal outer-membrane protein. It is administered by intramuscular injection in infants and young children.
