Overview
TEDALIX is a combination vaccine developed and manufactured by the Arab Company for Pharmaceutical Products (AraBio) for the prevention of tetanus and diphtheria. It is composed of purified tetanus toxoid and diphtheria toxoid, which are inactivated toxins derived from *Clostridium tetani* and *Corynebacterium diphtheriae*, respectively. The vaccine works by stimulating the immune system to produce specific neutralizing antibodies (antitoxins) that provide active immunity against the systemic effects of these bacterial toxins. TEDALIX is an approved and marketed product within AraBio's vaccine portfolio, typically used in immunization programs to maintain long-term protection against lockjaw and respiratory diphtheria.
