Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Diprobase and Doublebase are emollient product lines used to treat dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. They work by moisturizing, protecting, and soothing dry, irritated skin while preventing further moisture loss. Diprobase products contain white soft paraffin (petrolatum) and liquid paraffin as key ingredients that create a protective barrier on the skin. Diprobase Advanced additionally contains glycerol, a humectant that attracts water to the skin. Doublebase products contain isopropyl myristate and liquid paraffin as active ingredients, which hydrate dry skin and prevent excessive water loss. Doublebase Dayleve Gel also contains glycerol and povidone, which forms an occlusive film to retain water and oils in the skin. Doublebase Flare Relief contains nicotinamide, a vitamin B derivative with anti-inflammatory properties.
