Overview
DKN-01 + nivolumab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of DKN-01, a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that neutralizes Dickkopf-1 protein (DKK1), and nivolumab, a human IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). DKN-01 blocks DKK1, thereby modulating Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, which is implicated in tumorigenesis and immune suppression, while nivolumab inhibits PD-1 to promote immune-mediated anti-tumor activity. This combination is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of advanced biliary tract cancers in patients previously treated with chemotherapy.
