**docetaxel + CB-839** is a combination therapy consisting of **docetaxel**, a chemotherapy drug that functions as a microtubule inhibitor, and **CB-839** (telaglenastat), a first-in-class, potent, selective, and orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of glutaminase (GLS1). CB-839 inhibits glutaminase, blocking the conversion of glutamine to glutamate, thereby disrupting cancer cell metabolism and growth.
