Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Docetaxel + sotevtamab is a combination therapy being investigated for the treatment of various cancers, particularly metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and colorectal cancer. Docetaxel is a taxane derivative that binds to microtubules, promoting assembly and inhibiting disassembly, which leads to cell death by preventing mitotic cell division. Sotevtamab (AB-16B5) is a humanized IgG2 monoclonal antibody that targets secreted clusterin (sCLU), an epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-inducing protein. The combination may enhance immune-mediated anti-tumor response through induction of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS).
