Overview

A combination therapy consisting of docetaxel (a taxane chemotherapy agent), sunitinib (a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor), and trastuzumab (a HER2-targeted monoclonal antibody). This regimen has been investigated primarily for the treatment of HER2-positive advanced breast cancer. In clinical studies, sunitinib was typically administered at 37.5 mg/day for 2 weeks on treatment followed by 1 week off (Schedule 2/1), while docetaxel and trastuzumab were given according to standard dosing schedules.
