Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Docetaxel + taselisib is a combination therapy consisting of docetaxel, a taxane chemotherapy agent, and taselisib (GDC-0032), a selective PI3K inhibitor. Taselisib works by blocking the PI3K pathway, particularly targeting PIK3CA-mutant tumors, while docetaxel is a cytotoxic agent that disrupts microtubule function. This combination was investigated for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
