Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination dietary supplement containing docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), vitamin E, and choline. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid essential for the development of eye and nerve tissues and may reduce inflammation and triglyceride levels. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative damage. Choline is a vital nutrient involved in metabolism, cell membrane integrity, neurotransmitter synthesis (notably acetylcholine), and early brain development. This combination has been studied for its potential to improve liver steatosis and metabolic parameters in pediatric nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) as well as to support neurodevelopment during pregnancy and early childhood[1][2][4]. The mechanism of action involves nutritional support for cellular function, antioxidation, lipid metabolism regulation, and neuroprotection.
