Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Dolutegravir + rilpivirine** is a two-drug, fixed-dose oral antiretroviral regimen marketed as **Juluca**. It combines dolutegravir, a human immunodeficiency virus type 1 integrase strand transfer inhibitor, with rilpivirine, a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. The regimen is used as a complete maintenance treatment for adults with virologically suppressed HIV-1 infection who are switching from a stable antiretroviral regimen and have no history of treatment failure or known resistance to either component. The marketed tablet contains dolutegravir 50 mg and rilpivirine 25 mg and is administered once daily with a meal.
