Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CANALI (specifically CANALI 40 DSR Capsule) is a fixed-dose combination of rabeprazole sodium and domperidone. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H+/K+-ATPase pump in parietal cells. Domperidone is a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist with prokinetic and antiemetic properties that enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying. This combination is marketed by Fawn Incor and is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia, and other acid-related gastrointestinal disorders associated with motility dysfunction.
