Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Dostarlimab + pembrolizumab** refers to the combination of two anti–PD-1 monoclonal antibodies, dostarlimab and pembrolizumab. Both agents are immune checkpoint inhibitors that block the activity of the programmed death 1 (PD-1) receptor, thereby augmenting T-cell–mediated anti-tumor immune response. Dostarlimab and pembrolizumab are each FDA-approved for treatment of certain solid tumors, including endometrial cancer and are under investigation for other cancers, most notably non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) as first-line therapy in combination with chemotherapy. The combination itself does not have a unique brand or code name and is principally described in clinical research comparing or evaluating the simultaneous or sequential use of these two agents. Both are administered as monoclonal antibodies via intravenous infusion, usually as part of clinical protocols or comparative trials. Preliminary data suggest similar efficacy and safety profiles, with the mechanisms of action overlapping as PD-1 inhibitors, though neither direct clinical synergy nor a rationale for their combined use outside a clinical trial has been established.
