Overview

Doxorubicin is an anthracycline that inhibits topoisomerase II and intercalates DNA; cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent that induces DNA cross-linking; and docetaxel is a taxane that stabilizes microtubules. The trial aimed to determine if a genomic-guided approach could improve pathological complete response rates compared to random assignment.
