Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of two chemotherapy agents (doxorubicin and ifosfamide) and a targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor (anlotinib). This regimen is primarily used for the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas. Doxorubicin and ifosfamide act by damaging DNA and preventing cancer cell division, while anlotinib inhibits tumor angiogenesis and growth by targeting multiple receptor tyrosine kinases including VEGFR2/3, FGFR1-4, PDGFRα/β, c-Kit and Ret.
