Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DS-1205c + osimertinib is a combination therapy consisting of DS-1205c, a novel, specific, small-molecule AXL receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor, and osimertinib, an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. This combination was developed to address resistance to EGFR TKIs in non-small cell lung cancer. DS-1205c works by inhibiting the AXL receptor, which has been implicated in resistance mechanisms to EGFR TKIs, potentially restoring sensitivity to these agents in tumors that have developed resistance.
