The DTaP vaccine developed by the Institute of Medical Biology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (IMBCAMS) is a trivalent combination vaccine designed for active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. It is an adsorbed vaccine containing diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, and acellular pertussis antigens, specifically pertussis toxin (PT), filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA), and pertactin (PRN). This specific vaccine formulation has been evaluated in Phase IV clinical trials (such as NCT04141371) to assess its safety and immunogenicity when administered concomitantly with other childhood vaccines, including Sabin-strain-based inactivated poliovirus vaccine (sIPV) and MMR vaccines, in infants. The vaccine works by inducing the production of neutralizing antibodies against the toxins produced by *Corynebacterium diphtheriae* and *Clostridium tetani*, as well as against key virulence factors of *Bordetella pertussis*.
