The DTP-HB vaccine developed by Bio Farma is a quadrivalent combination vaccine designed to provide active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), and hepatitis B. It is a biological product containing purified diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, inactivated whole-cell *Bordetella pertussis* bacteria, and recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) produced in yeast (*Saccharomyces cerevisiae*). The vaccine works by inducing the production of protective antibodies against the toxins of *Corynebacterium diphtheriae* and *Clostridium tetani*, the cellular components of *B. pertussis*, and the surface antigen of the Hepatitis B virus. It is typically adsorbed onto aluminum salts to enhance immunogenicity and is administered via intramuscular injection, primarily as part of pediatric immunization schedules.
