Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of two GLP-1 receptor agonists (dulaglutide and liraglutide). Both medications work by mimicking the action of the incretin hormone GLP-1, which stimulates insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon secretion, slows gastric emptying, and promotes satiety. Current clinical guidelines from the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) do NOT support combination therapy of multiple GLP-1 receptor agonists due to lack of added clinical benefit and potential increased risk of side effects.
