Overview

Durvalumab + lenvatinib is a combination therapy that pairs two distinct mechanisms of action for cancer treatment. Durvalumab is a programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitor that works by blocking the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptors, thereby enhancing T-cell responses and anti-tumor immunity. Lenvatinib is a multi-kinase inhibitor that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFRs) and other receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor angiogenesis and proliferation. This combination aims to simultaneously inhibit tumor growth through anti-angiogenic effects while enhancing immune-mediated tumor cell killing.
