This is a combination of three separate immune checkpoint inhibitor monoclonal antibodies: - Durvalumab (Imfinzi): A PD-L1 inhibitor used for various cancers including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). - Nivolumab (Opdivo): A PD-1 inhibitor used for multiple cancer types including melanoma, NSCLC, and renal cell carcinoma. - Pembrolizumab (Keytruda): A PD-1 inhibitor used for various cancers including melanoma, NSCLC, and head and neck cancers. These drugs work by blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, which normally acts as an immune checkpoint that helps keep T cells from attacking other cells in the body. By blocking this pathway, these drugs boost the immune response against cancer cells.
