Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DXC006 + platinum is an investigational combination therapy comprising DXC006, a Delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3)-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), and platinum-based chemotherapy (typically cisplatin or carboplatin). Developed by Hangzhou DAC Biotechnology, DXC006 utilizes a monoclonal antibody to specifically bind DLL3, a protein frequently overexpressed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), to deliver a potent cytotoxic payload directly into tumor cells. The platinum component acts as a DNA alkylating agent, forming cross-links that interfere with DNA replication and transcription, leading to cell death. This combination approach is designed to enhance anti-tumor activity through complementary mechanisms of action and is currently being evaluated in Phase Ib/II clinical trials for patients with SCLC.
