Overview

E7386 + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy pairing E7386, a small-molecule inhibitor targeting the interaction between CREB-binding protein (CBP) and β-catenin (thus modulating the Wnt signaling pathway), with pembrolizumab, a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor that targets PD-1 and enhances antitumor immunity. E7386 disrupts β-catenin-mediated transcription essential for tumor growth, while pembrolizumab enables the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells by blocking PD-1-mediated immune suppression. This combination is being evaluated in previously treated patients with selected advanced solid tumors to assess whether modulation of tumor signaling and enhanced immune response can provide clinical benefit, especially in patients refractory to conventional therapies[1][2][3][4].
