Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EDP1503 + pembrolizumab is a combination therapy consisting of EDP1503, a monoclonal microbial product, and pembrolizumab (Keytruda), an anti-PD-1 therapy. EDP1503 is designed to activate multiple systemic immune pathways that are complementary to and potentially synergistic with checkpoint inhibitors. In preclinical studies, orally delivered EDP1503 showed activation of multiple clinically validated systemic immune pathways, including increased CXCL9 and CXCL10 production in the tumor microenvironment, augmentation of NK and T cell infiltration to the tumor site, and upregulation of MHC Class I expression in tumors.
