Efavirenz + TGRX-326 is a combination of two small molecule drugs used in clinical research settings. Efavirenz is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) primarily indicated for the treatment of HIV infection, where it works by inhibiting the viral reverse transcriptase enzyme, thereby reducing HIV replication[1][6][8]. TGRX-326 is a third-generation anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) and ROS1 tyrosine kinase inhibitor developed by TargetRx for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly in patients with ALK or ROS1 gene mutations, including those resistant to earlier generation inhibitors[4][5]. The combination has been studied in pharmacokinetic drug interaction trials to evaluate how efavirenz, as a CYP3A inducer, affects the metabolism and pharmacokinetics of TGRX-326[2][3].
