Overview

efineptakin alfa + ciltacabtagene autoleucel is a combination immunotherapy being investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The regimen consists of **NT-I7** (efineptakin alfa), a long-acting recombinant human interleukin-7 (IL-7) fused to a hybrid Fc region (hyFc), and **ciltacabtagene autoleucel** (Carvykti), an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA). NT-I7 acts as an IL-7 receptor agonist designed to promote the expansion, survival, and metabolic fitness of T cells, including the engineered CAR-T cells, to improve the durability of clinical responses. This specific combination is currently being evaluated in a Phase Ib clinical trial led by the **Washington University School of Medicine** to assess safety and the potential to enhance the efficacy of standard BCMA-targeted CAR-T therapy in patients with multiple myeloma.
