This is a combination of five different COVID-19 vaccines: elasomeran (Moderna's mRNA vaccine), tozinameran (Pfizer/BioNTech's mRNA vaccine), ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (Oxford/AstraZeneca's adenovirus vector vaccine), Ad26.COV2.S (Johnson & Johnson's adenovirus vector vaccine), and BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm's inactivated virus vaccine). Each vaccine works through different mechanisms to provide immunity against SARS-CoV-2. The mRNA vaccines (elasomeran and tozinameran) deliver genetic instructions for cells to produce the viral spike protein, triggering an immune response. The adenovirus vector vaccines use modified adenoviruses to deliver genetic material coding for the spike protein. BBIBP-CorV uses an inactivated form of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
