Overview
**Elbasvir + grazoprevir** is an oral fixed-dose direct-acting antiviral combination for chronic hepatitis C virus infection. Elbasvir is a selective inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus nonstructural protein 5A replication complex, while grazoprevir inhibits the viral NS3/4A serine protease. The combination is marketed by Merck as **Zepatier** and is approved for chronic hepatitis C virus genotype 1 or 4 infection in adults and eligible pediatric patients.
