Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Elimusertib + pembrolizumab is a combination of two investigational drugs for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, specifically in patients with DNA damage response (DDR) deficiency. Elimusertib (BAY1895344) is an oral, highly selective inhibitor of the enzyme ATR kinase, which plays a key role in the DNA damage response and tumor cell survival. Pembrolizumab is an immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting programmed death-1 (PD-1) on T cells, enhancing immune-mediated tumor destruction. The combination is under investigation in phase 1b clinical trials for safety, dose optimization, pharmacokinetics and preliminary anti-tumor activity[1][2][3][4][9][10].
