Overview

A quadruplet combination regimen used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, particularly in high-risk patients. **Elotuzumab** is a monoclonal antibody targeting signaling lymphocyte activation molecule F7 (SLAMF7) on plasma cells and natural killer cells, enhancing NK cell–mediated cytotoxicity and directly stimulating immune response[1]. **Pomalidomide** is an immunomodulatory drug that inhibits angiogenesis and modulates immune response through cereblon binding and downstream effects on protein degradation. **Carfilzomib** is a proteasome inhibitor that induces apoptosis in myeloma cells by blocking proteasome-mediated protein degradation[1]. **Dexamethasone** is a synthetic corticosteroid that suppresses inflammation and immune response, and potentiates the effects of the other agents. The regimen is under clinical investigation and has shown promising efficacy and tolerability in heavily pretreated patient populations[1].
