Overview

Elranatamab (PF-06863135) is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on multiple myeloma cells and CD3 on T-cells. By binding to these two targets, elranatamab redirects T-cells to recognize and kill BCMA-expressing myeloma cells through targeted T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Lenalidomide is an immunomodulatory small molecule used in the treatment of multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies; it works by slowing cancer growth, inhibiting angiogenesis in tumors, and enhancing immune system activity against cancer cells. The combination of elranatamab with lenalidomide is being investigated as a therapy for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients who are not candidates for transplant or as maintenance therapy after autologous stem cell transplantation[5][8][1].
