Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**EMB-01 + osimertinib** is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two agents: EMB-01, a fully humanized, tetravalent bispecific monoclonal antibody that simultaneously targets **epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)** and **cMet (hepatocyte growth factor receptor/MET)**, and **osimertinib**, a third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). EMB-01 induces co-degradation of EGFR and cMet, inhibiting downstream signaling and overcoming resistance mechanisms in EGFR-mutant and MET-driven non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Osimertinib targets EGFR mutations, including T790M, but resistance frequently develops; the combination aims to suppress tumor cell proliferation via dual pathway blockade and improve outcomes in advanced/metastatic NSCLC. Developed for patients whose disease progressed on prior EGFR TKI therapy, including osimertinib, especially those with EGFR and/or cMet-driven resistance. EMB-01 is developed using the FIT-Ig platform by EpimAb Biotherapeutics, while osimertinib (Tagrisso) is a product of AstraZeneca[1][2][3][5][6].
