Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of Endostar (recombinant human endostatin) and thalidomide. Endostar is an anti-angiogenic agent that acts on tropomyosin to inhibit endothelial cell growth at the earliest stages of angiogenesis. Thalidomide is an immunomodulatory drug with anti-angiogenic properties that modulates the release of inflammatory mediators like tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-a) and acts as a cereblon E3 ligase modulator. Both drugs individually have shown efficacy in cancer treatment.
