Overview
**endostatin + GDP** is a combination regimen consisting of recombinant human endostatin (an endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor) with the GDP chemotherapy protocol (gemcitabine, dexamethasone, and cisplatin). Endostatin inhibits tumor angiogenesis by blocking endothelial cell proliferation and vascular formation, thus reducing tumor blood supply and growth. GDP is used as a chemotherapeutic protocol for Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma; gemcitabine and cisplatin act as cytotoxic chemotherapy agents that destroy rapidly dividing cells, while dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that inhibits cancer cell growth and helps manage chemotherapy side effects. This combination has been explored experimentally, notably in lymphoma (including peripheral T-cell lymphoma), aiming to potentiate anti-tumor efficacy through both anti-angiogenic and cytotoxic mechanisms[2][1][7][3].
