Overview
**Entospletinib + decitabine** is an investigational combination therapy studied for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), particularly in older patients with TP53 mutations and/or complex karyotype. **Entospletinib** is an oral, small molecule inhibitor of **spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK)**, targeting malignant cells that are dependent on SYK-mediated signaling pathways. **Decitabine** is a hypomethylating agent and DNA methyltransferase inhibitor, which alters DNA methylation patterns and reactivates silenced genes, leading to tumor cell death. This combination aims to provide synergistic antileukemic activity.
