Overview

A **combination of three immunotherapy drugs**: epacadostat, a selective inhibitor of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1); nivolumab, a monoclonal antibody against programmed death-1 (PD-1); and lirilumab, a monoclonal antibody directed at the killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor (KIR). This combination was investigational for advanced or metastatic solid tumors, aiming to improve anti-tumor immune response by simultaneously blocking pathways that suppress T-cell and NK-cell function. Epacadostat was developed by **Incyte**, nivolumab and lirilumab by **Bristol Myers Squibb**. The regimen sought to determine safety, tolerability, and efficacy in several cancer types, including melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck[2][1].
