eperisone + ropivacaine

TML-ERP + RAP-22 is a fixed-dose combination (FDC) ready-to-use (RTU) injection being developed by Themis Medicare for the treatment of neuropathic pain. This investigational product combines eperisone, a centrally acting muscle relaxant, with ropivacaine, a long-acting amide-type local anesthetic. Eperisone works by inhibiting voltage-gated calcium and sodium channels in the spinal cord, which reduces the sensitivity of muscle spindles and provides both analgesic and muscle-relaxant effects. Ropivacaine acts by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve fibers, thereby preventing the generation and conduction of pain impulses. The combination utilizes Themis Medicare's proprietary Novel Drug Delivery System (NDDS) to create a stable, aqueous, ready-to-use injectable formulation. It is intended to provide a synergistic therapeutic effect for neuropathic pain conditions, particularly those involving muscle spasticity or localized nerve hypersensitivity, while offering the convenience of a pre-mixed, stable injection.
