Eperisone hydrochloride + diclofenac sodium

Eperisone hydrochloride + diclofenac sodium is a fixed-dose combination of two pharmaceutical agents used primarily for the management of acute musculoskeletal pain and muscle spasms, especially in conditions such as low back pain. Eperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant (antispasmodic) that works by relaxing skeletal muscles and vascular smooth muscles, reducing myotonia, improving blood circulation, and suppressing the pain reflex. Its mechanism involves inhibition of neural activity and pain sensation by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in the brain stem[3][7]. Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts its effect mainly through inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX), thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for inflammation and pain[1][2][6].
