Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pervistop is an oral dietary supplement combination containing epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), folic acid, vitamin B12, and hyaluronic acid, developed by Lo.Li. Pharma. It is specifically formulated to support the clearance of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and manage HPV-related cervical cytological abnormalities such as LSIL (Low-grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion) and ASCUS (Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance). The primary active component, EGCG, acts by interfering with the HPV life cycle and suppressing the expression of the viral oncoproteins E6 and E7. This suppression leads to the stabilization and upregulation of the p53 tumor suppressor protein, which induces apoptosis in HPV-infected cells and counteracts viral persistence. Folic acid and vitamin B12 are included to support DNA synthesis and cellular health, while hyaluronic acid contributes to tissue integrity and repair.
