This product is a **combination of three erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs): epoetin alfa, epoetin beta, and darbepoetin alfa**. Each component is a recombinant form of the naturally occurring hormone erythropoietin, which stimulates red blood cell production by binding to and activating the erythropoietin receptor on erythroid progenitor cells in the bone marrow. These agents are used primarily to treat anemia, particularly in patients with chronic kidney disease, those undergoing chemotherapy, or situations where minimizing blood transfusions is desired. **Epoetin alfa** and **epoetin beta** are structurally similar to endogenous erythropoietin but differ mainly in glycosylation patterns. **Darbepoetin alfa** is a modified erythropoietin with two additional N-linked carbohydrate chains, resulting in a longer half-life and less frequent dosing compared to epoetin alfa and beta. All three bind the erythropoietin receptor, promoting erythroid cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation[1][2][3][5][6].
