Overview

ERC1671 + sargramostim + cyclophosphamide is an experimental **combination therapy** for cancer, specifically glioblastoma. The combination consists of: - **ERC1671**: an allogeneic/autologous tumor cell immunotherapy (also called Gliovac), designed to provoke an immune response against glioma cells. - **Sargramostim (GM-CSF)**: a recombinant protein that stimulates production of white blood cells, such as neutrophils, macrophages, and dendritic cells, thereby enhancing immune responses and reducing infection risk[1][3][5][7][9]. - **Cyclophosphamide**: an alkylating agent used as a chemotherapy and immunosuppressant, which slows or stops cancer cell growth and modulates the immune system by depleting regulatory T cells and shifting cytokine profiles[2][4][6][8][10]. This regimen is designed to increase immune recognition and destruction of tumor cells while modulating regulatory immune pathways to amplify the response. ERC1671 itself is intended to induce antigenicity, sargramostim promotes immune cell expansion and activity, and cyclophosphamide provides both cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects. The combination is generally trialed in recurrent glioblastoma and other advanced cancers.
