Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of four drugs: erlotinib and gefitinib (both EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer), ginsenoside Rg3 (a compound found in ginseng with potential anticancer properties), and icotinib (another EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor). Erlotinib and gefitinib work by inhibiting the epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase, blocking downstream signaling cascades that promote cancer cell proliferation.
