Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of erlotinib and thalidomide. Erlotinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), used primarily for treating non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. Thalidomide is an immunomodulatory agent used for multiple myeloma and erythema nodosum leprosum. When combined, thalidomide can decrease the serum concentration of erlotinib, potentially reducing its efficacy.
