Erythromycin + lobaplatin is a combination therapy used intrapleurally for the treatment of malignant pleural effusion in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. This combination has shown to be safe and efficient in clinical studies. Lobaplatin is a third-generation platinum anticancer drug, while erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. When administered intrapleurally, this combination has demonstrated effective control of pleural effusion with manageable adverse effects.
