Escitalopram + oxytocin is a combination therapy involving the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) escitalopram and the neuropeptide hormone oxytocin. Escitalopram acts by selectively inhibiting the serotonin transporter, increasing synaptic serotonin levels, and is primarily used for major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders.
