Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This combination medication consists of esculin, digitalis glycosides, and sodium hyaluronate formulated as eye drops. The combination leverages the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties of esculin and digitalis glycosides, along with the moisturizing and lubricating effects of sodium hyaluronate. Clinical studies have shown this combination to be more effective than either component alone in treating dry eye disease (DED) and other ocular conditions. The medication works by reducing inflammation, providing antioxidant protection, and enhancing moisture retention on the ocular surface.
