Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination therapy consisting of four medications used in rheumatoid arthritis treatment: etanercept (a TNF inhibitor), meloxicam (an NSAID), methotrexate (a DMARD), and sulfasalazine (a DMARD). While various combinations of these medications have been studied (particularly etanercept + methotrexate), this specific four-drug combination is not well-documented in the literature. Methotrexate is considered a first-line DMARD for RA and can be safely combined with TNF inhibitors like etanercept. Sulfasalazine is often used in combination therapies, and meloxicam may provide additional anti-inflammatory benefits.
