Overview

A combination of two biologic agents used for patients with co-existing inflammatory conditions. Etanercept is an anti-TNF-α agent used primarily for rheumatoid arthritis, while omalizumab is an anti-IgE monoclonal antibody used for chronic spontaneous urticaria and asthma. The combination has been reported in case studies to be effective and well-tolerated in patients with both conditions, with no significant increase in adverse events.
