Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination product consisting of ethinylestradiol, cyproterone, and Selmevit. Ethinylestradiol is a synthetic estrogen that acts as an agonist at the estrogen receptor, commonly used in hormonal contraceptives and for the treatment of various hormone-related disorders. Cyproterone is an antiandrogen and progestogen that acts as an antagonist at the androgen receptor and as an agonist at the progesterone receptor; it is used to treat conditions like acne, hirsutism, and androgen-dependent disorders. Selmevit is a multivitamin-multimineral complex containing vitamins (A, C, E, B1, B2, B6, B12), minerals (selenium, zinc, iron), antioxidants (rutin), amino acids (methionine), lipoic acid and other micronutrients[1][6][8]. The combination would theoretically provide both hormonal therapy effects from ethinylestradiol plus cyproterone and nutritional support from Selmevit.
